EAAP has been delivering programs on animal science for over 70 years. After careful planning, we are going to provide some outstanding webinars by inviting top speakers who will introduce subjects related to animal science and the livestock industry to scientists and technicians.
The Webinar series is planned to be organized monthly to inform, update, and disseminate with high-profile speakers the EAAP individual members.
The 37th EAAP Webinar is organised with the CoCo project – Co-creating Coexistence (an EU-funded Horizon Europe project, whose EAAP is a partner).
In this webinar, four big reviews on interactions between pastoralism and wildlife will be presented. The reviews took very different approaches, looking at policy, land and forest use, agricultural systems and economics. How can the findings be brought together? This is the challenge the CoCo project team faces as we enter the project’s final year.
The reviews that will be presented:
- Policy interactions, Umea University, Sweden
- Wildlife management, INN, Norway
- Pastoral typology, CITA, Spain
- Damage prevention, IEA, Italy
