“Mountains are agroecosystems for people” Workshop Privacy Policy
The “Mountains are agroecosystems for people” Workshop (the « Workshop ») will take place as an online event from June 7 to June 9, 2021. It is organized by EAAP and is supported by Zoom videoconferencing and communication services.
Your personal data in the context of the Workshop shall be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation).
The data controller is EAAP.
The legal basis for the processing operation is article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (consent).
The purpose of the processing of personal data is to organise the Workshop as an online event, register the event’s participants through EAAP’s website (https://meetings.eaap.org/mountains-agroecosystems-workshop/registration/), provide registered participants’ access to the Workshop, as well as communicate with the registered participants within the scope of the Workshop.
The following personal data are processed for the events’ participants:
- Contact data (first name, last name, email address, institution) and payment data (bank account or credit card information), collected upon registration on EAAP’s website.
- Personal data related to “in-session” participation to the Workshop (first name, last name, username, email address, device identifiers and further technical connection data, meeting recordings, files, chat logs, transcripts, and any other information uploaded) collected upon connection to and use of Zoom videoconferencing and communications services.
The Workshop will be audio/video recorded. The Workshop’s proceedings, including the presentations’ files, will be stored by EAAP and made available on demand to EAAP members on an access-restricted area of EAAP website (Members’ area).
The participants’ personal data, including the Workshop’s proceedings, will be kept by EAAP for a maximum period of 12 months after the end of the Workshop, unless the participants have provided their consent upon registration for further processing by EAAP (in order for the participants to get informed about future EAAP activities and events). In the latter case, EAAP will keep the contact data until the participants withdraw their consent.
Personal data will be deleted after the end of the retention period.
Recipients of personal data: access to your personal data is granted only to designated EAAP staff, who are involved in the organisation of the Workshop. Zoom will have access to personal data to provide its videoconferencing and communications services. [1]
Storage of personal data: the personal data are stored on EAAP’s server and are only processed within the EU/EEA.
You have the right to access to your personal data and to relevant information concerning how we use it. You have the right to rectify your personal data. Under certain conditions, you have the right to ask that we delete your personal data or restrict its use. You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time. We will consider your request, take a decision and communicate it to you. If you have any queries concerning the processing of your personal data, you may address them to EAAP at dataprotection@eaap.org.
You have right of recourse at any time to the the supervisory authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) (http://www.garanteprivacy.it/).
