The Webinar series is planned to be organized monthly to inform, update, disseminate with high profile speakers the EAAP individual members. Apart from exceptions due to organizational issues, the EAAP Webinars will be held monthly, in the afternoon of the second Tuesday of the month.
The 15th EAAP Webinar titled Control of GHG emissions in Ruminants farming is organized in collaboration with the World Association for Animal Production – WAAP. WAAP aims to encourage closer collaboration between animal production organisations and to bring together scientists, educators, technicians and administrators with the objective of reviewing development concerns on the five continents.
The first presentation will be given by Diego Morgavi, from “INRAE” (France) which will present “Options to reduce enteric methane emissions from ruminants through feed additives – Spotlight on early life”. Andrea Vitali from “Università degli Studi della Tuscia” (Italy) will then talk about “Ruminants and climate change: impact of ruminants on climate and mitigation strategies”. Last but not least, Frank Mitloehner from “UC Davies” (US) with his work titled “The pathway to climate neutrality for the beef and dairy sectors”.
